The city of Lowell is seeking candidates for the position Pretreatment Lab Technician in the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The position reports directly to the Engineering Supervisor and Supports the Pretreatment Coordinator to implement the Utility’s Industrial Pretreatment Program by performing the necessary daily activities assigned. Performs and conducts laboratory testing, research, analysis and experimentation and maintains laboratory systems. Required to have a high school education or GED. An associate degree in environmental science, construction technology, engineering, or related field is preferred. Familiarity with wastewater sample collection and analysis is preferred. Salary range: $30.7649 (min) to $34.0427(max) per hour; 40 hours per week.
