The city of Marlborough Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a full-time Principal Clerk -Administration.
This position serves as the department’s primary point of contact and dispatcher, receiving and assessing service requests, coordinating DPW field personnel, and providing residents and city departments with timely, accurate information. Responsibilities include answering calls and routing inquiries; managing work orders and departmental records; relaying urgent requests from Police Dispatch; monitoring the department website and social media; providing administrative support for the Resident Drop-Off Facility, snow and ice vendors, and building rental scheduling; coordinating the Hometown Hero Banner and Clean Sweep programs; cross-training with other administrative staff for operational coverage; and participating in emergency response operations, as required.
