Job Description

General Information:  DPW – WATER DIVISION

BY-LAW – GRADE 5/6 

FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

FULL PAY RANGE: $26.02 TO $36.87 PER HOUR 

HIRING RANGE: $26.02 TO $31.02 PER HOUR

 Position Overview:

• Conducts communications with customers and employees
• Prepares accounts payable warrants.
• Performs DPW utility billing. Coordinates with customers.
• Provides collections on overdue accounts.
• Prepares meeting minutes for Board of Public Works meetings.
• Assists in the preparation of Division payroll for approval by DPW Director.
• Monitors Division budgets and tracks spending.
• Maintains databases and customer records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Associates Degree in Business preferred
