Project Engineer

Job Description

The town of Windsor is seeking a collaborative and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Engineer. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on a wide range of public infrastructure projects, collaborating with contractors, consultants, developers, state and federal agencies, and town staff, and seeing projects move from concept and design through construction and completion.

As a Project Engineer, you will perform complex and professional engineering work involving the design, construction, inspection, and coordination of public works projects and programs. Areas of responsibility may include streets, drainage, parks, streetlights, traffic signals, traffic signs, pavement markings, transportation, and other Town infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field, with four years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience including some supervisory experience; or
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The starting salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000, with starting salary depending on qualifications.
