Job Description

The town of Ipswich is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time position as a Purchasing and Insurance Risk Manager.

Position Details:

  • Hours: 19 hours per week (non-benefitted)

  • Compensation: $30–$36 per hour, depending on qualifications (DOQ)

  • Location: On-site at town offices

Qualifications:

  • Active MCPPO Certification (Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official)

  • Two to five years of experience in municipal purchasing and procurement

  • Strong understanding of Massachusetts procurement laws and best practices
