The town of Amherst seeks a Senior Services Coordinator (Program Director) to provides support, advocacy, and case management to older adults and their families, helping them access resources that promote independence and aging in place. The position also provides counseling services, develops and leads programs and support groups, partners with community agencies, and assists with outreach, reporting, and grant activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in social work; LSW or LCSW Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts PLUS four to six years of experience working with elders or other vulnerable population or any equivalent combination of experience, training and education demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the duties of the position.
