The town of Williamstown is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and innovative leader to serve as its next Superintendent of Public Works. Reporting directly to the Director of Public Works, this position plays a critical role in planning, directing, and overseeing the operations of the town’s Public Works department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that support the community’s infrastructure, safety, and quality of life.
About the Position
The Superintendent of Public Works manages the Highway, Cemetery, Parks, Transfer Station, and Facilities divisions while providing leadership for the town’s public works operations, infrastructure projects, equipment maintenance, capital planning, and emergency response activities. The position supervises all Department of Public Works personnel and provides operational leadership during snow and ice emergencies.
