Definition
Supervisory, administrative and skilled repair work servicing, maintaining and repairing automotive, mechanical and other power equipment of the Department of Public Works; all other related work, as required.
Works under the general supervision of the Operations Manager who may discuss priorities with the supervisor. Performance of duties requires scheduling, expediting and controlling repair work, tracking expenses and record keeping of all repairs.
Performs responsible duties following departmental rules, regulations and policies, requiring the ability to plan and perform operations and complete assigned tasks according to prescribed time schedules; unusual situations are referred to the Operations Manager.
Supervises five full-time employees; may also supervise one to two seasonal employees and/or interns
Salary range: $70,552 – $91,290 annually
