The town of Acushnet seeks a qualified professional for the position of Town Accountant. Acushnet has an operating budget of approximately $35 million. The ideal candidate will minimally possess a degree in accounting, finance, or related field, plus five years of public finance experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of UMAS, GAAP, and GASB regulations. Experience with MUNIS is preferred.
