The town of Weare, NH (9,000), seeks experienced professional municipal manager to serve as its next Town Administrator to follow its current Town Administrator who is retiring after 30 years of service to the town.
Weare is located in South Central NH, within 20 miles of the cities of Manchester and Concord and 70 miles from Boston, the Seacoast and Lakes Region of NH. Position oversees an operating budget of approximately $9M and a workforce of 46 FTE’s and many other PTE’s providing the full array of services to the community.
Master’s degree in a related field and five-plus years of relevant experience, preferably in municipal administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
Salary range to $145,000; starting salary commensurate with qualifications. Excellent benefits. Weare is an equal opportunity employer.
