Job Description

The town of Westminster is seeking a Town Clerk to assist our community of approximately 8,400 residents. Westminster is a charming NE community located in Central Massachusetts that is home to substantial year ‘round recreational opportunities. With easy access to Route 2 and I-190, Westminster is close to Worcester, 56 miles west of Boston, and 15 miles from the New Hampshire border. The Town is governed by a three-member Selectboard, with an appointed Town Administrator.

The Town Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining official municipal records, issuing licenses and documents, and administering fair and accurate local, state, and federal elections. The role also oversees the posting of meetings for all boards and departments and maintains records of postings and meeting minutes.

35 hours per week/Full Benefits/Vacation, Personal, & Sick time

Anticipated start date: End of June

Anticipated salary: $64,931 – $74,160
