Located in eastern Connecticut, Hebron is a welcoming New England community known for its rural character, strong sense of community, and excellent public services. Hebron’s 9,200 residents value the town’s natural beauty, open space, and family-friendly environment.

Hebron operates under a Council–Manager form of government. The Town Manager is responsible for the overall administration and management of municipal government, implementing policies adopted by the partisan Town Council and ensuring efficient, transparent operations across departments.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and collaborative municipal leader with extensive knowledge of public administration, budgeting, organizational leadership, and modern community engagement.

Desired qualifications include:

• Master’s degree in public administration, business administration, finance, or related field
• 10 + years of progressively responsible experience in municipal government or a related field
• Demonstrated leadership experience as a town/city manager, assistant manager, or comparable executive municipal leadership role
• Experience with municipal capital projects and economic development planning
• Experience in labor relations, human resource management, and collective bargaining
• Connecticut municipal government experience
• Residency in Connecticut preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license

Salary range is $150,000 to $170,000 annually, DOQ/DOE. Full benefit package.
