What You’ll Do

As part of our team, you’ll help operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant, pump stations, and collection system. Your work will include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing pumps, compressors, and treatment equipment
  • Performing lab testing and monitoring treatment processes
  • Completing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Recording and reporting system performance, repairs, and inventory needs
  • Assisting contractors with equipment installations and upgrades
  • Maintaining tools, vehicles, and facility grounds
  • Rotating through essential duties like sludge processing, cleaning, and snow removal

What You Bring

  • Massachusetts Wastewater Operator Certification (Grade 4 minimum, with the ability to obtain Grade 5 within six months of hire)
  • Two-plus years of experience (preferred)
  • CDL Class B (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
