Job Description

Position: Water Station Treatment Operator, Water Division

Location: Water Division, 65 Sachem St., Middleborough

Status: Full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week, scheduled and unscheduled overtime required, weekends on a rotational basis required, and standby duty required.

Wages: $28.3000 per hour (Grade 2, Step 1) – $ 34.8362 per hour (Grade 3, Step 6) in accordance with the current AFSCME DPW Union Contract

Duties: Perform diversified operator duties in the operation and maintenance of water pumping, filtration, iron removal, chemical treatment, flow level, and water storage facilities as directed by the Foreman, Chief Operator, and/or Water Superintendent. Qualifications: High School Diploma, must have Massachusetts Water Certification – 1T or better. Class D Driver’s License in good standing.
