Job Description

The town of Dudley is seeking a qualified professional to serve as the Youth Services Librarian
for the Pearle L. Crawford Memorial Library. This position falls under the direction of the Library
Director that performs professional library work in planning, directing and scheduling children
and teen-age library programs and services, develops and responsible for the selection of the print and non-print materials, manages the material budget and supervises the maintenance of the collection for the Youth Services division. The candidate must have excellent customer service and time management skills as well as the use of social media and the internet in support of library services and programs.

This is a grade 3, full time 40 hour per week position with a starting salary range of $55,556 –
$61,000 annually based on experience and qualifications. Associate’s degree or an equivalent
combination of education with three to five years specialized in the field of library science. Benefit package includes paid time off, health and dental insurance and pension benefits.
