Zoning and Code Enforcement Agent

Come join our dynamic team! The city of Newton is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Zoning and Code Enforcement Agent. The purpose of this position within the Department of Inspectional Services is to be responsible for conducting building, zoning and other ordinance enforcement reviews in connection with all applications for building permit, special permit, site plan reviews and comprehensive permits. Additionally, responsible for investigating and following up in writing on all pertinent complaints that may be filed for either a current development project or any perceived building and zoning violation. This is full-time, exempt, hiring salary range: $70,447-$75,837 annually plus yearly step increases, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of our team of dedicated public servants.
