The city of Springfield is looking for a Zoning Code Inspector. This position is responsible for technical inspectional and enforcement work in securing compliance with laws governing state and local municipal zoning, State Sanitary and Zoning related Building Code requirements. Work involves responsibility for reviewing and inspecting zoning, nuisance, signs and related codes, ordinance and regulations in effect for the city of Springfield. Although supervisor advice and assistance is available an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily, which may require judgment and discretion through review of reports and conferences.
