Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
This is an investment in the community — the connections, the learning experience. I am not ashamed to say I steal so many ideas from my colleagues around here and take them back to my community.
Municipal government is a great place to work! Cities and towns deliver a wide range of essential, quality-of-life services directly to residents: education, public safety, public works, libraries and much more. Municipalities offer a safe and stable work environment and great benefits. If you want to do work that really matters, local government may be the place for you!
