Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
I will see almost everybody I know here, passing in the hallway, having those check-ins — ‘How are you doing? How are you surviving?’ Those are really important moments for us.
Municipal government is a great place to work! Cities and towns deliver a wide range of essential, quality-of-life services directly to residents: education, public safety, public works, libraries and much more. Municipalities offer a safe and stable work environment and great benefits. If you want to do work that really matters, local government may be the place for you!
