The town of Natick is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the full-time position of Town Clerk. This non-union management position reports under the general direction of the Town Administrator and in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts general law. The Town Clerk is the chief election officer for the town and the clerk of Town Meeting. In addition, they perform administrative and supervisory work in connection with the maintenance, certification and retention of official town records, the issuance of various licenses, business certifications, official documents, and records. The position works very closely with the state on elections.
Education/experience:
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, government political science, business, or related field, and at least five years of increasingly responsible related experience, including supervision and management of others; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience. Previous experience as a Town Clerk or an assistant Town Clerk preferred.

The town of Natick offers a generous benefit package in addition to a competitive salary. The hiring range $95,000-$115,000, is commensurate with education and experience.
