The town of Wayland seeks an experienced Communications and Community Relations Coordinator to join the Wayland Council on Aging. This part-time role is responsible for development and oversight of all Council on Aging (COA) communications in a range of venues, including written and electronic media. This includes the creation of the COA monthly newsletter, weekly email correspondence, updating the COA’s website and social media accounts, as well as press releases to local news outlets. Also recruits/trains volunteers and partner with other organizations that provide programs and services to Wayland seniors.
Ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability as an effective communicator in person, as well as strong writing, editing, layout/design experience in creating printed brochures and electronic communications. Hourly Rate Range: $26.68 to $37.42 per hour. Hours are 24 to 28 hours per week. Non-union position eligible for benefits. For the full job description click here.
