RANGE: $2,003.36 – $2,642.90 / WEEK

The Town Accountant is a senior professional responsible for overseeing the fiscal integrity of the town of North Attleborough through the maintenance of the general ledger, verification & processing of payroll and accounts payable, budget monitoring, financial compliance, and the preparation of financial reports in accordance with state & federal requirements. The position ensures financial transparency & accountability under Massachusetts General Law, GAAP, UMAS, and GASB standards. The Town Accountant provides support for financial planning & operational decision-making.
