The town of Maynard is seeking well-qualified candidates to serve as our part-time Municipal Energy Manager. The Municipal Energy Manager (MEM) is a temporary, part-time staff project manager position with the town of Maynard, funded by a three-year grant. The primary responsibility of the MEM is to work with utilities, grant organizations, regional planning agencies, and town staff and committees to identify and complete energy efficiency projects in town-owned municipal buildings. The position performs administrative, professional, and technical work responsible for managing, coordinating, and directing energy projects and program deliverables for the Town Administrator’s Office and Maynard Public School District’s Superintendent’s Office. Bachelor’s degree required, energy and/or public policy focus preferred, and minimum three years of related work experience; administrative experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Hours of work: 20 hours/week. Salary: $56,000 ($53.63/hour), health benefits eligible.
