The town of Dighton is seeking qualified applicants to serve as Health Agent to the Health department.
The Health Agent assists with emergency response, communicable disease, public health hazards, rabies response and other health-related issues. Investigate complaints, administer and enforce all of the above regulations relating to environmental protection and health promotion. Supports and assists with field inspections as needed. Participates in meetings of the Board of Health and other related meetings as needed.
Bachelor of science degree in public health or related field; at least three years of prior work experience; or an equivalent of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be bondable.
Applicants with background in Title V are preferred.

This position is a non-union position, 28 hours per week.
