Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Duties: Under the direction of the Public Works Director, Superintendent of Water, and their designee, performs skilled manual work in the repair, testing and maintenance of water meters for accurate operation and registration; disassembles, cleans, adjusts, repairs, and overhauls all sizes and types of water meters both on-site and in-shop; reads water meters; makes adjustments to correct inaccuracies. Responsible for maintaining meter shop area and repair parts inventory and requesting any items needed and to perform related work as required. Responsible for installing and removing seasonal backflow devices for municipal fields and playgrounds. Applicants will be required to work directly with customers.
Requirements:
Salary: $60,524.36 – $73,337.68 annually
