Make a difference with us! The town of Dracut is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Human Services Director. The Director leads the Human Services Division, including senior services, Veteran’s Affairs, and Recreation. This role enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of these vital services, ensuring the community’s needs are met with excellence.

Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, the Director leverages extensive knowledge of social service operations, municipal management, social work best practices, and recreation management. They are a proactive problem-solver, adept at navigating complex situations with sound judgment and initiative.

The Director handles various responsibilities, each requiring flexibility, an innovation. The Director oversees all department staff, including professional, administrative, maintenance, and transportation staff, also directing other paid, unpaid, and volunteer support staff, including van drivers, the Veteran’s Services Officer, outreach workers, service vendors, event staff, and program instructors.

This is a full-time, exempt position, the full salary range is: $95,586.40-$136,281.78 annually, plus excellent benefits.
