TOWN OF MEDWAY
WATER SEWER SYSTEM OPERATOR
The town of Medway seeks qualified candidates for a full-time 37-hour position in the Water and Sewer division of the department of Public Works. This is a benefits-eligible union position.
Responsibilities include:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent. Three years of experience in municipal water supply and wastewater collection operations preferred. Current MA Drinking Water Operators License, wastewater collection system certificate, MA CDL Class B and MA Hoisting License 2A/4G/1C. Current Grade 2T and 2D full water operator’s licenses. An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential job functions may be considered.
The town of Medway offers in-house training to obtain CDL and Hoisting Licenses and is willing to train the right candidate. CDL and Hoisting license would be required within six months of employment, and there will be a flexible period determined for the water licenses, if necessary.
