The city of Cambridge seeks a Digital Support Specialist to assist the Body-Worn Camera (BWC) unit and related technologies. This position maintains and stores digital footage from BWCs, public safety cameras, and other systems, ensuring proper retrieval by authorized personnel in compliance with department, city, state, and federal regulations. Helps with BWC equipment setup and installation, troubleshoots technical issues, and resolves problems with associated audio/visual footage. They maintain organized records of all requests, including those under the Public Records Law, and support both internal and external dissemination. The role includes identifying and redacting confidential or exempt video and documents. The specialist assists with benchmarking and goal tracking, maintains equipment inventory, and addresses inventory needs. They provide prompt issue resolution and document all actions taken. Under supervision of the Digital Support Manager, they deliver technical and non-technical support with excellent customer service. The role requires collaboration with the Property and Evidence Unit for footage booked into evidence and tracking project progress, reporting risks, and recommending adjustments. Coordination with other departments is essential to meet BWC unit deliverables. Minimum Requirements: Associate degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent. Three years of IT or technical support experience required.

Rate: $82,651.65 – $106,030.26 annually
