Grant Writer Administrator – Town of Templeton, MA

The town of Templeton is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Grant Writer Administrator to join our Town Administrator’s Office. This full-time (Monday–Thursday-hours negotiable) position offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and full benefits. As our Grant Writer Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of securing critical funding that drives community improvements, supports local initiatives, and helps shape the future of Templeton. You’ll manage the full grant lifecycle — from identifying opportunities to overseeing compliance — ensuring that projects run smoothly and meet all federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, or a related field; three to five years of relevant work experience (municipal or government experience preferred).
  • Skills: Exceptional writing and editing abilities, strong organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines with precision.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with state procurement laws and municipal operations is a plus.
  • Enjoy a four-day workweek with a flexible schedule.
  • Competitive pay range of $45,000 – $50,000, based on education and experience.
