Become a key player in the financial stewardship of our town. The town of Dracut is seeking a dedicated and experienced Treasurer/Collector to join our team. In this crucial role, you will oversee the collection, treasury, debt management, and general administrative functions, contributing to the town’s financial health and efficiency.

As the Treasurer/Collector, you will lead and support a team enhancing financial management systems. You will manage the town’s funds, handle tax billings and revenue collections, and ensure timely payroll and debt payments. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing state and federal reports, administering debt borrowings, and maintaining accurate cash position estimates.

You will also coordinate annual audits and initiate collection actions on delinquent accounts. Engaging with taxpayers and the public, you will address inquiries and resolve issues, contributing to a transparent and responsive financial environment. Additionally, you will assist with employee benefit programs and budget preparation, playing a key role in the overall financial strategy of our town.
