Associate Planner

Job Description

The city of Lowell is seeking qualified, experienced, and energetic candidates for the position of Associate Planner within the department of Planning and Development. This position reports to the Senior Planner and other designated personnel and is a member of the project review group responsible for initial contact with constituents or developers relative to requests for zoning information, site plan review, permit process, etc. Acts as liaison between an individual or neighborhood group, developer and Board/Commission to provide an understanding of a project and its process.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in urban planning, engineering, landscape architecture, architecture, or related field; two to three years’ experience in a related field required. The salary ranges from $81,950.99 (min) to $90,221.21 (max) annually. 35hr/wk.
