The town of Rockland is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Co-Response Mental Health Clinician with the Rockland Police department. This position partners with police officers to respond to calls involving behavioral health crises, substance use disorders, and related issues. The clinician provides on-site clinical assessments, crisis intervention, short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up case management. Requirements include a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field; Massachusetts licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, or equivalent) or working toward licensure; two years of relevant experience; valid driver’s license; and ability to pass CORI and background checks. The starting salary is $75,000 annually (negotiable based on experience) with an excellent benefits package, including Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance (79% town/21% employee premium split) and retirement plan.
