The town of Groveland is seeking a Water and Sewer Superintendent. This position is responsible for supervising and maintaining the overall operations of the Water and Sewer department. Work includes planning, prioritizing, and overseeing daily activities, and supervising staff to ensure that the town’s water and sewer systems are operating efficiently.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or an equivalent in a related field, and five years of progressively responsible experience in municipal operations, including three years in a supervisory position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Massachusetts driver’s license is required, along with a Grade II Distribution license, Grade II Treatment license, Cross Connection Surveyor license, and Backflow Prevention Tester license. Preferred Qualifications: An OSHA 10 Card, Hoisting license, and Sewer Collections license are all preferred but not required.
