Brookline seeks an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions. This multifaceted role includes recruitment and onboarding, benefits and leave administration, employee and labor relations support, policy guidance, applicant tracking, exit processes, and maintaining accurate, confidential HR records. A key component of the position is conducting and supporting workplace investigations — handling intake, interviews, documentation, and preparing clear, objective reports — requiring demonstrated experience and strong judgment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, public or business administration, or related field; three to five years of progressive HR experience; proven experience conducting workplace investigations and writing reports; strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws. Public sector experience strongly preferred.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,010 – $96,185, excellent benefits, four weeks of vacation, and a municipal pension.
