Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
In September, the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust’s Board of Trustees approved $25.5 million in low-interest loans and grants to municipalities through the Massachusetts State Revolving Funds.
The funds help communities build or replace water infrastructure that enhances existing water resources, ensures drinking water safety, protects public health, and increases community resilience.
The Chelmsford Water District received $15 million in clean water project loans and the Hillcrest Water District received $104,662 in asset management grant funding.
Barnstable County and the town of East Bridgewater received $10 million and $400,000, respectively, for Community Septic Management Projects.
The city of Taunton received a $50,000 grant for cybersecurity efforts.
