Worcester Red Sox General Manager Brooke Cooper

Worcester Red Sox General Manager Brooke Cooper, the first female GM in the Red Sox organization, will be a featured panelist during a Women Leading Government meeting on Nov. 5 in Wrentham.

During an inspiring and insightful session on navigating and thriving in leadership, Cooper will share her story of advancement within the Red Sox organization while building a family.

Joining her on the panel will be Kendra Amaral, the deputy commissioner at the Department of Conservation and Recreation and a former town manager who served in both Massachusetts and Maine.

Additional panelists will be announced shortly.

Drawing from real-world leadership journeys, the panelists will explore actionable strategies for navigating systemic challenges, cultivating resilience, and advocating for organizational change.

Attendees will also collaborate in small group discussions to examine the challenges they encounter and to formulate practical solutions.

The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at noon, followed by brunch. The registration fee is $25 per person.

Women Leading Government events are open to all staff in appointed positions in local government.

The meeting will be held at Lake Pearl in Wrentham.
