The year 2020 will long be remembered for the challenges faced during a pandemic that forced social and technological change. Municipalities were forced to adapt and implement technology and policies that allowed for employees to work from home and citizens to access municipal services virtually. This survey is a follow up to a 2019 survey sent by the Massachusetts Municipal Association and will re-assess municipal cybersecurity. Anonymized results will be reported back to the MassCyberCenter to evaluate the effectiveness of state cybersecurity programs implemented during 2020 on municipal cybersecurity.
