Municipal human services professionals are invited to join the MMA Human Services Council for a free Zoom meeting about self-care during times of extreme stress.

Human services professionals have risen to the challenge during this past long and difficult year, continuing to provide essential services to residents in need under difficult circumstances throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. While the end is in sight, challenging times remain ahead.

The extreme stress caused by the pandemic can have a negative impact on both physical and mental health. Self-care and stress management are critical to preventing burnout and protecting health and well-being.

Trish Hart, a mind/body specialist and certified yoga instructor, will lead this dynamic, interactive self-care and stress management workshop, which include both education and hands-on practice of mind/body techniques to provide genuine tools for managing stress and avoiding burnout.

This meeting will be conducted on Zoom, and attendees are encouraged to participate with their cameras on if possible.

The meeting is free to attend, but advance registration is required. An email with the registration link has been sent to all HSC members.
