The featured speaker will be Northborough Town Administrator John Coderre, who has over 25 years of municipal management experience. He teaches in the MMA-Suffolk Finance Leadership Certificate Program and is a frequent presenter to the Association of Town Finance Committees.
This webinar is based on the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award Program, which was designed to establish best practices for budgeting in local government and recognizes those cities and towns that successfully follow these practices. This is a can’t miss event for councillors: in 2021, roughly one third of the 37 entities in Massachusetts recognized with this award operated with a council form of government. Northborough is consistently awarded the GFOA Budget Award.
