In this engaging seminar, the MMMA invites you to join two experienced municipal attorneys for a conversation about risk management. Drawing on years of advising managers after the fact, the presenters will outline the key HR issues they wish leaders understood before taking action. The session will then shift perspective to managing your own career: the decisions that most often place managers themselves in jeopardy, and what counsel wishes clients had done differently before an issue escalated.
Participants will have opportunities to ask questions, work through real-world scenarios, and leave with practical strategies to recognize risk and manage it before it becomes a crisis.
