“Making Decisions in Today’s Energy Market: What You Need to Know”
Constellation, the MMA’s endorsed supplier for its MunEnergy program, is holding a series of free breakfast seminars for local officials engaged in municipal energy decisions and purchasing.
Constellation’s experienced energy professionals will address questions such as:
• When is the best time to seek quotes for electricity?
• How would installing solar affect my electric bill?
• How do I know if I have an actual energy strategy?
The seminars will explain the key market drivers that have an impact on energy rates in Massachusetts, the impact of the state’s recently passed renewable energy legislation, and the price components within the customer’s control in an electricity bill. Presenters will also discuss examples of Massachusetts communities that have reduced their electricity costs by understanding how rates are set.
In short, attendees will get all the information they need to make informed decisions about their community’s energy needs.
In addition to this session, seminars will be held on the following dates and locations:
• Tuesday, Sept. 20, 8:30-10:30 a.m., Attleboro
• Tuesday, Sept. 27, 8-10 a.m., Grafton
• Thursday, Sept. 29, 8-10 a.m., Melrose
The seminars are free, but pre-registration is required.
