Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Timothy McGourthy, deputy secretary at the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, will meet with the Small Town Administrators of Massachusetts on Friday, Sept. 20, in Turners Falls (Montague).
McGourthy will discuss the Commonwealth’s Economic Development Plan, how his agency reviews proposals and implement programs, and the future of the new economic development bond bill.
Members will have the opportunity to make suggestions for possible inclusion in the Economic Development Plan, which will be submitted to the Legislature for a public hearing, expected this fall.
The event will be held at the Shea Theater, 71 Avenue A, beginning at 11 a.m. with light refreshments.
