Friday - June 5, 2020
10:00 am – 11:00 am

MIIA will share some of their early observations on safety protocols as town halls and other buildings open up and staff return to work. MIIA Risk Management and Training staff will provide an overview of their early observations and work to date in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They will also address their strategy moving forward targeting areas where they can work to prevent losses and provide training and analytic services in support of member needs.

In addition, they will preview materials for an upcoming webinar covering the Massachusetts Mandatory Safety Protocol. This webinar will cover the basic state mandate and will introduce a risk management process which municipal managers can use to identify, analyze, and control exposures that are unique to their individual structure and departmental set-up.

MIIA staff would like to hear from attendees what their risk management and training needs are as we all move forward with re-opening efforts.

A small town health agent will also join to discuss what managers should include in their COVID-19 self-attestation plans to submit to his or her Board of Health.
