The city of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant City Treasurer for the Office of the Treasurer and Collector of Taxes within the department of Administration and Finance. Under the direction of the City Treasurer and Collector, the Assistant City Treasurer will direct operations and compliance activities of the Treasury payroll functions and staff, servicing over 7,000 city employees. This individual is responsible for overseeing the investment of public funds, cash management, forecasting, financial accounting and state and federal reporting, debt service payments, payroll accounts payable and processing payments to the Health Insurance carriers. In the absence of the City Treasurer & Collector, the employee may act on their behalf.

SALARY RANGE: $112,371 – $121,221 annually, full-time, exempt, excellent benefits package.
