Assistant Tax Collector/Treasurer

Job Description

The town of Acton is seeking full time applicants for the position of the Assistant Tax Collector/Treasurer within the Finance department. This position will report directly to the town Treasurer/Collector.

Minimum Entrance Requirements: Three years of related finance experience plus bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or any combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Certified as a collector and/or treasurer.

Special Requirements: Able to be bonded. Ability to become certified as collector and/or treasurer.

Pay Rate: starting at $72k to $83k a year.
