The town of Southborough is currently seeking a civic-minded individual to join the permitting arm of our organization. If you are working in this field and possess a MA State Building Commissioner License (or the ability to successfully obtain within the first 18 months of employment) – please consider joining our dynamic leadership team which also offers a wide range of professional development enrichment opportunities. This department oversees building, zoning enforcement, all required inspections and is also responsible for investigating violations and connecting with Town officials as needed. Application: This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. Salary range is $49.60-$65.44 per hour DOQ; 75% paid toward employee insurance program, in addition to rich benefits and PTO offerings. Requirements: Minimum of five years’ experience in the construction field with knowledge of construction work with supervisory responsibility, designing projects either as an architect or an engineer, inspecting work as a certified professional inspector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
