The town of Southwick is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated professional to serve as its full-time Building Inspector/Building Commissioner. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Building department, including the coordination of building, electrical, and plumbing inspection services.
The successful candidate will ensure compliance with state building codes, local zoning bylaws, and other applicable regulations to promote safe and compliant development throughout the town.
This position requires attendance at scheduled evening meetings and offers a 40-hour workweek with a competitive salary range of $85,000–$93,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
