The Town of Weymouth’s Department of Public Works is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Business Manager. This position works closely with a dedicated team of division leaders who provide guidance and support to all town department heads regarding matters related to public works activities, utility billing and town infrastructures. This position also manages the administrative office team within DPW. The Business Manger works cooperatively with the DPW management team including the Director, Water & Sewer Superintendent, Town Engineer and Operations Manager to achieve department goals and objectives. Must be available during urgent or emergency situations. Attend night meetings as required. Assist division managers with coordinating snow and ice operations and other emergencies. Communicate with the town departments during snow and ice operations and other emergencies as needed.

In order to be considered, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration; ten years of general administrative experience in a municipal environment, with at least five years’ experience in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Driver’s license.
The salary range for this position is $ $102,106.20 to $125,847.36/annually DOQ
