Economic Development Coordinator

Job Description

The city of Gloucester is now accepting applications for the full time, in person position of Economic Development Coordinator. This position is responsible for developing and implementing the city’s strategy for economic development in coordination with the Community Development Director and department staff. Applies for and administers state and federal grants. Administers the Tax Increment Financing Program and seeks incentives from the Commonwealth’s EDIP program. Coordinates the administration of programs with city staff, boards, and community partners.

This is a full-time, in-person, 35 hour per week, benefit eligible position. Monday through Wednesday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Thursdays 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Salary range is $80,771.45 – $100,429.14 per year based on qualifications and experience.  A full job description can be found at gloucester-ma.gov/DocumentCenter/View/11334/Economic-Development-Coordinator
