The city of Cambridge seeks an Education Coach who will provide individualized coaching and guidance to licensed community-based early childhood educators, with a focus on professional growth, curriculum, and instructional practices. Manage a caseload of classrooms, coaching educators using OEC’s coaching model, and maintaining detailed documentation to track progress. Collaborate with the Professional Development Specialist and Workforce Development Team to identify and promote relevant training opportunities, particularly for Continuous Quality Improvement and CPP program participants. Support shared curriculum, assessment, and school readiness goals across programs. Develop and manage a shared resource bank of early childhood materials. Maintain CLASS® Rater certification (Infant–Toddler and Preschool) and TPOT certification. Stay current on policies from MA Departments of Early Education and Care and Elementary & Secondary Education. Collect and analyze data to assess program impact, plan annual Professional Development Week, and foster collaboration between community programs and schools. Uphold equity, anti-racism, and inclusion in all work. Minimum three years of experience coaching or supervising in early childhood; Bachelor’s required, master’s preferred; strong knowledge of policy and practice.
Rate: $69,502 – $82,241 annually
